A dua to recite when Ramadan is approaching us
With Ramadan approaching fast, all you need to do is think and prepare how you are going to spend this holy month.
Ramadan is the month of blessings and promises great rewards if we spend it the way Islam teaches us to spend. So every Muslims must prepare themselves for the upcoming Ramadan.
In addition to the prayers, dhikr, and rituals you plan to carry out during the coming Ramadan, there are two short yet comprehensive duas that you must memorise and practice.
The duas are mentioned in Arabic text along with English translation and transliteration.
| أَللّٰهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِیْ لِرَمَضَانَ، وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِیْ، وَتَسْلِمْهُ مِنِّیْ مُتَقَبَّلاً |
Transliteration
Allahumma sallimni li Ramadana, wa sallim Ramadana li, wa tasal-limhu minni mutaqabbala
English translation:
O Allah, safeguard me for Ramadan, safeguard Ramadan for me and accept it from me
